The first book I received was from Chris. She chose to use her Italian book from the Foreign Text RR that had just completed. I was the last artist to work in the book in that RR, so it was a real challenge to come up with new ideas. Fortunately, I collect Italian ephemera, and had received some items that combined well with a few old photos. I’m also making an effort lately to remember that pages can be torn in half to create more visual interest—so here’s a layout with a half page that allows the viewer a peek at what’s on the following page.
