Julie’s dark book was mostly finished by the time I received it. Since the title of the book was originally Death’s Old Sweet Song, I wanted to do some quotes about death. The first one I used was “Death is the sound of distant thunder at a picnic”. Lightning printed on acetate and glued over crumpled silver tissue stamped with the text. Embellished with plastic ants.
