This week’s 15 minute master work: collage images, water color pencils and water soluble oil pastels on gessoed cardboard. 8×10 inches. I started this as part of a lesson for this month’s issue of The Monthly Muse, and decided to go ahead and finish it. I’m truly deep in a ridiculously colorful phase, and I don’t see any sign of it ending soon.

This morning, I put the final coat of sealer on the piece. I glued a label on the back, explaining what it is, and what to do with it. I slid it into a plastic bag, stapled a header onto it, and tucked it into my purse.

While I was at Hobby Lobby, grabbing a new bottle of liquid matte medium, I left it behind for someone else to take home. I snapped a photo of it, hanging in the sticker aisle, waiting to be discovered.
