Some journal pages and postcards worked in the style of another artist.
A 16×20 inch canvas.
Journal pages and postcards in a style very different from my usual one.
Some larger beeswax pieces.
A 7 x 48 inch mixed media piece on wood.
A series of pieces I did to loosen up my painting style.
I make postcards in a variety of ways: I might take an old postcard and alter it, or create a digital collage and print it out on cardstock, or I might fling some paint and clippings onto a piece of watercolor paper.
Just like it says: these pieces are made by mixing media.
Whenever I can, I do a big piece that is meant to stay home rather than go off to a swap partner. One of my goals when I moved into my own home was to cover the walls with my own artwork. Little by little, I’m getting there…
Yes, you heard it right—wax collage. These pieces are done using melted beexwax to assemble them.
This gallery contains collage work that is entirely digital—that is, it was created on the computer using various pieces of software and image files.
